Today I got this unexpected text on my iPhone.  Apparently they are recalling the power plug.  Supposedly the metal plug can fall off and stay in the outlet.  The funny part of this whole story is that they are advising everyone to stop using the power plug and get a replacement, the problem is that replacement is not available until October 10th.  I guess you’re screwed if you don’t have a computer to hook up your iPhone to and charge it that way.  Me on the other hand I’ll keep using the power plug, since I never unplug it and I’m not dumb enough to stick my fingers into the outlet when the metal breaks off .
