Finally an update

Well this last week or two have been crazy.  Did the photos for Rex’s show, then had a pizza party for Honduras people at 5pm on Saturday, and at 10pm for the dancers.  It went pretty well and everyone was well fed after everything was finished.  There was tons of pizzas that day.  I believe 15 or so were made.  I also had some tiramisu that miraculously was able to span both parties.

We also got our first project and homework for CFD class.  So far so good, it’s not terribly hard, but it does require some thought.

I will try and write some updates on the darkroom, but first I need to go shoot some film, but by the looks of it it might not happen for another week or so.  In the mean time I’ll try and write a bit about plasma physics and my CFD work.  Who knows, somebody might find it useful.

Enlarger is here, FINALLY

By Dejan | Uncategorized | Add comment

So today I opened my door to go to UW and pickup my papers, when I saw a large box.  It was my enlarger.   The Omega C-700 I got is in an AWESOME condition.  I was truly surprised.  For $28 I got the enlarger and the lens that were in amazing condition.  I have to test the lens once my chemistry comes in.  The only thing missing was the negative carrier, and they cost $50+ if I buy them of the web, which is crazy since 2 pieces of flat glass would be just as good.  I will post some pictures later in the week when I’ve had some time to play with it.

Also it has been a great start for the new year.  Had an awsome time for the new years and a pretty good day of baking and fun at my place the day later.
