AC/DC Live in Tacoma Dome

By Dejan | Music | Add comment

Well I finally got to do one of those absolute musts when it comes to music.  AC/DC concert was AWESOME.  I mean you really got to go see somebody like them to get so many hits in one place and such production on stage.  They played every song you’d think possible “Highway to Hell”, “Shoot to Thrill”, “Hells Bells”, “Thunderstruck”, “Back in Black”, “TNT”, “For Those About to Rock”, etc.  It was jam packed with songs I knew all the lyrics to and the amount of energy on stage was incredible.  They had everything from flame throwers, a freaking life-size train, cannons, fireworks etc.  Even a big-boobed lady ridding the train half way through the show as shown in the photo below (excuse the quality it’s an iPhone)

Then towards end of the show Angus Young came out to the middle of the crowd and rocked out for about 5 minutes.  He can definitely still shred that guitar.  Our seats were perfect for watching this, and by seats I mean seats.  For some reason general admission was not your standard, have everyone stand and cram zone.  It was kind of nice, but I know we could’ve gotten closer if there was no chairs.  Here is a pic of Angus tearing it up:

After the show I was completely deaf.  I ended up getting lucky and catching a quick light rail from the Dome to the parking garage.  Here is few more shots of the concert:

Manu Chao rules !!!

By Dejan | Music | Add comment

On my recent trip to Honduras I’ve discovered Manu Chao.  Apparently he was the founder of Manu Negra that I used to listen to back in the day, but I totally forgot about it, for some reason.  Anyways Manu Chao is doing some GREAT solo work these days.  Of course singing in Spanish, French, English, Arabic, etc and music influences from all over the world it makes for an interesting experience.  See what I mean:

Raconteurs concert

By Dejan | Music | Add comment

Went to Raconteurs concert last night with Tom. Opening band, have no clue of the name, was marginal at best. On the other hand Raconteurs were amazingly good. Definitely worth seeing live again. Here’s a couple of crappy cellphone shots.
